About the 6th Court of Appeals District
The Court of Appeals is a very important piece of the Texas judicial system. This Court hears all appeals, in both civil suits and criminal prosecutions, from the trial courts of 19 northeast Texas counties.
The 6th Court of Appeals district includes the following counties: Bowie, Camp, Cass, Delta, Fannin, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Hopkins, Hunt, Lamar, Marion, Morris, Panola, Red River, Rusk, Titus, Upshur and Wood.
